Leading organisations in the natural capital space will convene in Madrid from 4th to 8th November for a week of events, discussions and networking: the Natural Capital Week 2019.
Events organised in the framework of this week aims at contribute to the Action Agenda for Nature and People launched during the UN Conference on Biodiversity in 2018. This agenda aims to catalyse actions from all sectors and stakeholders of society in support of biodiversity, and support the adoption of an ambitious post-2020 global biodiversity framework at the fifteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP15) of the Convention on Biological Diversity taking place in 2020. This New Deal for Nature and People will, in its turn, be a basis for the post-2020 EU biodiversity strategy.
See below for details of events, partners, and registration. More information and detailed agendas to follow.
